Red State Legislatures Should Breakup Electoral College Votes Immediately

We all witnessed the shocking moment on Election Day when Arizona instantly turned Blue, for the second time in 76 years. The way Arizona voted in the Presidential Election was determined solely by Phoenix.

In other words, every Red County in Arizona had zero say in who was to become President, simply because the population of the urban districts has officially overcome the total population of Arizona’s rural counties. It’s that simple.

This is the fate of every Red State in the nation, most alarmingly in deep Red States that are adjacent to deep Blue States. Idaho will be the next contentious election, because Boise is the fastest growing city in the nation. Where are Boise’s immigrants coming from? California.

The original intent of the Electoral College is constantly debated. Frankly, the original intent doesn’t matter, it’s the effect that actually matters. Let’s explore this.

Two states have already exercised their Constitutional Right and Power to redetermine how their electoral votes are calculated: Nebraska and Maine. They recently rejected the “winner takes all” method that 50 States have traditionally employed.

In doing so, their 2020 election results are noteworthy. For the second time in history, Nebraska split its Electoral College votes: Four (4) votes went to Trump, and only one (1) was delivered to Biden. The sole Democratic vote came from the urban district. Maine, which is New England’s last conservative stand, sent one (1) vote to Trump and (3) to Biden.

Nebraska and Maine understand how important the Electoral College is in preventing the Urban Culture from overriding the Rural Culture. Conservatives in these two states were not completely shut out of the Presidential Election process, unlike Arizona, Georgia and Idaho to soon follow.

Now, by looking at the actual effect of the Electoral College, we can now determine its actual purpose: to give equal representation to CULTURES. It prevents the dangerous effect of group-think / mob rule.  This is very important to understand, because cities by definition, are more populated, but that doesn’t mean their values are more important.

When the Electoral College was originally established, it can be imagined that it was intended to prevent the population of the Major Cities (then, only on the coasts) to override the values of the vast interior of the country. The “winner takes all” method was widely accepted because interior states were still culturally homogeneous.

US population has exploded since then, and with the reach of the internet, interior cities are proving to be just as liberal as the coastal cities. Therefore, we need to update the Electoral College in each State so the Electoral College can still be an effective buffer.

The takeaway:  All Red State Legislatures are strongly advised to re-establish the way the Electoral College votes are calculated, ASAP. The power to determine election law is well within the Constitutional Rights of each State, as it is yet another form of separation of powers.

An explanation of how Maine and Nebraska establish their Electoral College rules can be found here (though a different formula may be better for your state):

Please remember:  For Conservatives (Constitutionalists) to win on all fronts, everything should be taken down to the most local level as functionally feasible (States Rights). The most finite unit of local is the Free and Sovereign Individual.

The US Constitution builds a society that starts with the Free and Sovereign Individual FIRST, and radiates outward to the Family, Community, County, State and then Nation. Law and Society flow in this order. This means, State trumps Federal, County trumps State, and Community trumps County. Remembering this is how we can overcome Top-Down oppression at all levels. States Rights: How “Local” can unite America

A winning Political Narrative is one that can bring All Americans to One Side, unite us against our Common Adversary, and paint a Bright Future to excite us all. The following essay presents such a persuasion.

All honest Liberals and Conservatives are ultimately fighting the exact same thing: Greed. Both parties want to dismantle Greed, as they see it in the other’s ideology. To dismantle Greed, we must address its power source: top-down power structures.

What are top-down power structures? Centralized governments, corporate monopolies, federal banks, the IMF, globalist institutions and institutionalized religions, and other structures where Few dictate to Many.

Top-down power structures concern both parties. For example, the left fights to dismantle all-powerful Corporations, while the right fights to dismantle all-powerful Governments. They are essentially the same beast, and in both cases, Decentralization (competition) is the solution.

All top-down power structures are inherently shadowy and corruptible, even when they begin with good intentions. The larger the entity grows, the less competition, and the less transparent and accountable it becomes. This fact is simply due to the nature of the structure. It needs pruning.

Greed is highly attracted to the shadows of top-down power structures. When these structures grow too big, shadows prevail, and Greed thoroughly infiltrates. These structures then collapse into money-laundering pyramid schemes. If you look around, you will notice that all of our systems are collapsing, and Greed is now what we are all fighting.

So, just as “Local Business”, “Local Food” and “Local Radio” etc are the battlecry for liberals who fight to dismantle our Corporate Monopolies, “Local Government” should be the battlecry for conservatives who fight to dismantle our Government Monopoly. “Local” is the street-term for Decentralization, and it unites.

For example, let’s look at Cryptocurrency. Crypto = DeFi = Decentralized Finance. DeFi is the block-busting contender to Big Banks, and is supported by Liberals and Conservatives alike. This proves that we all can be united simply on this principle of Decentralization.

Luckily for us, the Original 1776 US Constitution was explicitly built to Decentralize Government Power, right out of the box. To unite all Americans, all we have to do is describe it this way (yes, our Framers were that brilliant).

Now is the time to revisit the practice of Local Governance. Then we can adjust our party’s narrative to quickly and gently untangle our fellow Americans and bring them along the logical path toward States Rights and the Original US Constitution. Afterall, the US Constitution is the original “Local”. Say goodbye, Washington Machine.

You’ll also learn more about the nature of Greed, and how to recognize and dismantle Greed in all its earthly forms. Even more exciting, you’ll learn how States Rights is literally a competitive Free Market for great ideas on society’s evolution.

Truly, nothing is more progressive than the Original 1776 US Constitution. In fact, by definition, States Rights is the scientific process for the rapid Discovery of Utopia (heaven on earth). And who couldn’t want that!? Unless, of course, Progress and Science isn’t what you’re actually after…

The logic of States Rights is also a simple way to quickly expose the hypocritical Agents of Greed, back them into a corner, and shine a floodlight on them for all to see. Hint: our enemy is not each other, that’s just an illusion.
